Betty North

Boyd~ Betty North, 92, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

Memorial Service in her honor will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Betty’s residence  107-s  Atwood St. in Boyd.

Betty was born on April 14, 1930 to Charles Edward and Myrtle (McCluney) Daniell in Boyd, Texas. She was a  member of the Boyd Methodist church for numerous years.

Betty worked 37 years as a cemetery registar with Greenwood Funeral home.  She was a beloved mom, sister and friend and enjoyed working crossword puzzles as well as being an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by, her daughter, Kathy Jo North; and sisters Orlanda Shiflit, Dorothy Kincer and Charlene Clegg.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Nick North of Boyd, and a host of friends and family.
