Betty (Cox) Dillinder

Bridgeport ~ Betty Dillinder, 81, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Dr. David Burrows will officiate. Pallbearers include Bob Waters, Fred Thompson, James White, Gene Gregg, Kevin Lehmann, and Randal Wright.
Betty was born on February 24, 1934 to Dewey and Jessie (Winchell) Cox in Ranger, Texas. She was united in marriage to Harold Dillinder on January 3, 1954 in Ranger. Betty graduated from Ranger Junior College. She was a volunteer at the Bridgeport Nursing Home. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Dewey Cox Jr., Richard Cox, and Charles Cox.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Harold Dillinder of Bridgeport; her children, Cheryl Manske and husband Lynn of Tomball, Vicki Lehmann and husband Kevin of Bridgeport, John Dillinder of Bridgeport, Carolyn Wright and husband Randal of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Chris, Leah, Brady, Valerie, Cory, Nik, Drexell, and Lindsey; her great grandchildren, Keaton, Layla, and Isaac; her sister, Delores Cheshire and husband Jimmy of San Antonio; her sisters-in-law, Louise Frasier of Refugio, and Faye Cox of Ranger; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
