Beth Marie (Granner) Weiss

Rhome ~ Beth Marie Weiss, 87, a retired store co-owner, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Carrollton.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at The home of M.E. “Doc” and Beth Weiss.
Beth was born on September 13, 1927 to Paul and Catherine (Grannemann) Granner in Sumner, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Merlin Weiss on July 12, 1947 in Charles City, Iowa. Beth and M.E. were married 62 years until M.E’s passing in 2009. She was co-owner with M.E. of Doc’s Five Point in Haslet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, M.E. “Doc” Weiss; her son, Brian Weiss; 2 brothers, Paul Granner Jr. and Bobby Granner; her sister, Carolyn Granner.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jan Peek and husband Jim of Rhome; her son, Keith Weiss and wife Carolyn of Plano; 4 grandchildren, Jenny Miller and husband Chris of Frisco, Douglas Weiss and wife Jessica of Pflugerville, Chris Peek and wife Jen of Rhome, and Jessica Johnson and husband Derek of Southlake; 5 great-grandchildren, Anastacia, Matthew, Nicholas, Brady and Tripp; her brother, Jim Granner; her sister, Ruby Usher; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
