Newark ~ Bernadine McClesky, 72, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Friday, May 8, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pastor Ryan Christopher will officiate. Pallbearers include Rex Sanders, Taylor Myers, Phillip Tillery, Clayton Hall, Keith McClesky, Leonard McClesky, Jr.
Bernadine was born on January 12, 1943 to Clifford and Pearl (Banister) Tarlton in Lamesa, Texas. She was united in marriage to Cecil McClesky on June 1, 1973 in Lubbock. Bernadine
retired
from Tracor Westronics.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Cecil McClesky of Newark; her sons, William Myers of Idaho, Allen Myers of Arlington, and Steven Myers of Alabama; her daughter, Katheryn Peterson of Arlington; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sisters, Paula McClesky of Newark and Kay Hunt of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
