BOYD -- Benny Hugh Davenport, 64 a farmer went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday at Boyd Cemetery.Rev.Gary Sessions officiating. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Benny was born on November 9, 1944, the son of David and Myrtle (Smith) Davenport, in Santa Monica, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mae Dean Reed.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: sister, Lalene Cleary of Boyd; nieces, Pam Cleary of Watauga, Sherry Schmedt of Waco, Karen Clark of Fort Worth; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
