Quinlan ~ Bennie Joe Portwood, 74, a farmer, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 16, 2016 in Rockwall.
Memorial Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Cottondale Cemetery.
Speakers Don Niblett and Jack Howell will officiate.
Bennie was born on December 28, 1941 to Elgin and Bessie (Smith) Portwood in Decatur, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sister, Lena Hogan of Quilan; his niece, Deanna McFerrin-Hogan of Dallas; his nephew, Frank Hogan of Dallas; several cousins and a host of friends.
