Barbara McCasland

Barbara Jean McCasland, 87, of Decatur passed from this earth Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Barbara was born August 21, 1939 to Jessie “Hillard” and Marie (Turley) Darrough in Paris, Arkansas. She was united in marriage July 3, 1958 to Billy Earl McCasland, married 34 years before his passing. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Earl McCasland; a sister, Margie Reynolds and her husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Lisa Davis and husband Jeff of Slidell; her son, Mike McCasland of Chico; grandchildren, Pam Hampton and husband Justin of Runaway Bay, and Billy McCasland and wife Crytal of Chico; 5 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Henry; extended family and a host of friends.
