Decatur - Barbara Garrison, 77, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Friday, June 8, 2007 in her home town of Decatur, Texas. She was born November 19, 1929 in Decatur to Richard and Bessie Harris Stem. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur and a volunteer at the hospital for many years.
Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Decatur with Rev. Ken May officiating. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Jim Bradshaw, Bobby Wilson, Jay Davidson, Ed Sipes, Rick Ivy, and Jody Forman.
Survivors: Husband of 61 years, Billy Garrison of Decatur; Son, Richard Garrison and wife Delonna of Decatur; 2 Granddaughters, Curren Wicker and husband Brandt of Decatur, and Ryan Brown and husband Ashley of Decatur; 4 great-grandchildren: Cami, Carson, Caylen, and Kynlie; and a host of many friends.
