Aubrey Houchins

Weatherford ~ Aubrey Houchins, 100, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Weatherford.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wilson Prairie Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Bro. Melvin Blalock will officiate. Pallbearers include David Watkins, David Fowler, Bill Blevins, Bobby Blevins, Chris Ragle and Watt Ragle.

Aubrey was born on June 3, 1917 to Verg and Nannie (Nall) Houchins in Wise County, Texas. He was united in marriage to Lucille Richardson. He was a member of the East Bankhead Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his daughter, Pearlene Houchins.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Betty Blevins of Weatherford; numerous grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; cousins, and a host of friends.
