Arthur Galleciez Hazel

Alvord ~ Arthur Galleciez Hazel, 77, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Celebration of Life is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Ascension & St. Mark’s in Bridgeport.

Arthur was born June 22, 1944 to John Hudson and Gloria (Bright) Hazel in Harlingen, Texas. He was united in marriage June 30, 2012 to Maria Luisa Luna in Decatur, Texas. Arthur was a retired plumber in the residential construction industry after many years. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gloria Hazel.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Maria Hazel of Alvord; his daughters, Sarah Hazel of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and Stephanie Thomas of Slaton, Texas; his son, Scott Hazel of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren, Nakisha, Maxwell, Cev’n, Laura-Elizabeth, Quintin, Grace-E’met, and Prince; his brothers, John Hazel of Apex, North Carolina, Jim Hazel of Ortonville, Michigan, and Joe Hazel of Richmond, Virginia; his sisters, Dana Hazel and Risa Hazel, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, extended family members and a host of friends.
