Annie Lee (Willis) Dawson

Decatur ~ Annie Lee Dawson, 71, went to be with her Lord Monday, April 8th, 2024 in Denton, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Annie was born January 27th, 1953 to Eunice Lee and Louida (Ross) Willis in Decatur, Texas. She was a retired Resident Administrator at the University of North Texas’s Maple Hall for over 30 years. Annie graduated Decatur High School and was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Louida Willis; and her sister, Donna Williams.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, KaSondra Bible of Arizona, and Jennifer Dawson of Decatur; her grandson, Cameron Dawson of Decatur; 3 brothers, Ray Russell and wife Phyllis, Ronald Willis and wife Cara, and Donald Willis and wife Cindy; her sister, Kathy Stewart of Lubbock; extended family members and a host of friends.
