Burleson ~Annie Virginia Brown, 91, a retired banker, formerly of Boyd, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 5, 2015, in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Rev. Barry Swindall will officiate.
Annie was born on July 10, 1923 to Thomas and Annie (Porter) Brown in Boyd, Texas. She retired from Bank of America in Boyd after 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Oswell, Porter, and Morton Brown; and her sister, Nettie Morton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Clara Tingle of Fort Worth; her brother, Forrest Brown and wife Ann of Fort Worth; her nephew, James Brown and wife Nell of Commerce; her nieces, Ann Robinson and husband Richard of Southlake, Anita St. Clair of Dallas, Kathy Swindall and husband Barry of Burleson, Nancy Baker and husband Buddy of Mansfield; numerous great nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
