Ann Ferguson Williams

Decatur ~ Ann Ferguson Williams, 90, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 22, 2024.

Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at First United Methodist Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Phillip Weitner will officiate. Pallbearers include Bert Williams, Jake Williams, Brandon Hill, Jake Rawls, Chris Wesley, and Dylan McCoy.

Ann was born November 27, 1933 to Herbert Newton and Blanche Lillian (Scott) Ferguson in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage May 28, 1955 to Harry F. Williams in Decatur, Texas. Ann was a ranch owner, and worked for Rauscher Pierce in the Municipal Bond Dept in Dallas for 2 ½ years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Blanche Ferguson; and her husband Harry F. Williams.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Harry “Mack” Williams and wife Joye of Sanger and Herb Williams and wife Susan of Decatur; grandchildren, Bert Williams and wife Taylor of Decatur, Amanda Hill and husband Brandon of Bowie, Jake Williams of Slidell, Lara Rawls and husband Jake of Sanger, and Chris Wesley and wife Deana of Valley View; great-grandchildren, Grady, Dixie, & Lyle Williams, Kimber & Logan Hill, Jameson Rawls, Dylan McCoy , and Caitie Wesley ; her cousin, Sue Deakins of Tyler; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
