Anita Emile Morrow

Anita Emile Morrow, 84, of Decatur, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026.

Visitation is 10-Noon Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Anita was born on February 4, 1942, in Temple, Texas.

She dedicated many years of service to the City of Decatur, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and commitment to her community.

Anita was a woman of faith and was a member of the Methodist Church of Decatur. Above all, she cherished her family. She was a loving wife and mother whose unwavering love, strength, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She found joy in the simple things in life, including her love for cats, and she created many special memories with those she loved.

Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Morrow, and her daughter, Jonita Morrow.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Morrow; her son, Jeffrey Morrow, and daughter-in-law, Tanya Morrow of Haslet, Texas; along with other relatives and dear friends who will deeply miss her.

Anita will be remembered for her caring heart, quiet strength, love of family, and the compassion she showed to others. Her legacy will live on through the memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time as they celebrate Anita’s life and the lasting impact she made on those around her.
