Celebrating the Life of Angela Lee Turner July 14th, 1982 – August 3rd, 2025
Our hearts are broken as we share that our beloved wife, mom, daughter and sister, Angela Lee Turner, passed away on August 3rd, 2025 at the age of 43. Angie was the heart of her family. Married to the love of her life, Cody Turner, she was a devoted mother to four incredible children: Barrett, Gunner, and twins River and Riggs. Her children were her world, and she never missed a chance to cheer them on, encourage their dreams, or wrap them in her love.
She was known for her loyalty and kindness to others, her natural ability to speak her mind and most of all… being a Momma Bear when need be. She filled every room with light and made every person she met feel valued and loved. Beyond her family, Angie found joy in serving others as a massage therapist. She often talked fondly about her patients and how they were the best. Outside of work, she loved spending time with her family, especially her boys whether it was watching them hunt, fish or setting deer feeders, to watching them play sports or simply playing outside in the dirt or often the mud. She leaves behind countless memories that will forever remind us of her generosity, humor, and spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Cody Turner, their four children, Barrett, Gunner, River and Riggs Turner. Parents, Donald and Shirley Peebles, sister, Jennifer Auvenshine, niece Rylie Auvenshine and a community of loved ones whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Thomas Leonard “TL” and Vivian Smith, Marvin and Bernice Peebles, grandparents, Willie and Irene Fenoglio, Herbert Boyd “HB” and Lucretia Peebles, Uncles, Joe Flores and Gregory Dale Peebles and niece, Baylee Rae Auvenshine.
A celebration of her life will be held on October 2nd at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, TX at 10:00 AM. The family welcomes all family and friends to join them after the celebration of life for a graveside service at the National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Turner’s home in Boyd, TX at 5:00 PM for food and to share memories, and honor the incredible woman she was. Her love will live on in her children, in her family, and in every heart she leaves behind.
