BRIDGEPORT -- Alma B. Winnett, 87, a retired School Secretery at Crossley Elementery, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in Decatur. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens in Corpus Christi. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins funeral Home.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Pearl Ford; her husband Alton Winnett; her son Thomas Scott Winnett; 3 brothers: Frank, Charlie, and Harlan, Ford.
Survivors: son: Eddie Winnett of Carrollton, Texas; daughter: Jeanie Brandon and husband James of Runaway Bay, Texas; grandson: Charles Winnett and wife Ashley; great grandchildren: Payton Winnett, Jewel Brandon; sisters: May Greenway of Troy, Texas, Laura Oliver of Troy, Texas, and Bennie Oliver of Bridgeport, Texas; brother: Roy Ford of Troy, Texas.
