ALVORD -- Alma Taylor, 87, a homemaker, died Thursday, July 20, 2006 in Decatur. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery #3. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Alma was born in Argyle, Texas. She married Jamesw A. Taylor on June 23, 1933 in Hereford, Texas.
She was preceded in death by husband; her son, Tommy Taylor; her daughter, Margaret L. Taylor; and 2 grandsons, James William Taylor and Kenneth Lynn Taylor.
Survivors: sons: James D. Taylor and wife Shirley of Fort Worth, Ron Taylor of Alvord, John L. Taylor and wife Denise of Garland; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Ray Shipley, Randy McGavin, Shortie McGavin, Bill Loafman, Gary Loyd, and Mike Watts.
