Alma Lee (Clifton) Sparks

Chico ~ Alma Sparks, 96, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 12, 2020 in Chico.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Rogers, Bryson Bagshaw, Tyler Sparks, Gary Shields, Johnny Clifton, Carl McDaniel, and honorary is Jerry Rogers.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at the funeral home.

Alma was born December 5, 1923 to Johnie and Lillie (Faran) Clifton in Bowie, Texas. She was united in marriage October 26, 1940 to Jessie Adams Sparks in Bowie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years Jessie Adams Sparks; her daughter Jackie Castillo; her daughter-in-law, Annie Sparks; her brother, Jessie Clifton; and her two sisters, Juanita Ogle and Wysonda Stockard.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, David Sparks of Chico; 2 grandchildren, Heath Sparks and wife Cindy and Tonja Holland and husband Wes; 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Sparks, Mia Sparks, Bryson Bagshaw and wife Jackie, Kayla Albert and Wesley Holland; 1 great-great grandchild, Trinity Bagshaw; numerous family and a host of friends.
