Allen Evans

Allen B. Evans, 65, of Boyd, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Boyd Cemetery. Visitation open from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Allen was born on August 27, 1955 to Allen B and Alene (Beall) Evans in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Hadley on March 4, 1994 in Taos, New Mexico. Allen was a member of First Baptist Church in Boyd and he was a heavy equipment operator for Precinct 3 in Wise County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Seth Allen Evans.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn of Boyd; his daughter, Leigh Barrington and husband Justin of Seabrook; his sons, Tyrell Evans and his wife, MaryKate of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Hadley Evans of Ormond Beach, Florida; his daughter, Ally Evans of Boyd; 6 grandchildren, Kaden, Kolt, Sean, Kynlee, Kellyn, and Kendyll; his sister, Andrea Burleson and husband Terry of Edmond, Oklahoma; other relatives, and a host of friends.
