Runaway Bay ~ Allan Soon Lem, 76, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Runaway Bay.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.
Allan was born on October 27, 1949, to Buck and Jean Lem in Canton, China. He was united in marriage to Vickie Hodges on November 11, 1975, in Seattle, Washington. Allan was the operations manager for Weatherford Oil. Outside of work, Allan was a devoted outdoorsman and accomplished sportsman who found great joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. His adventurous spirit, love for the land, and passion for the sporting life will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Allan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jeanette Hagen.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Vickie Lem of Runaway Bay; his son, Leland Lem and his wife, Meghan of Oskaloosa, Kansas; his daughter, Desairae Witt and her husband, Aaron of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Ella and Mia Lem and Jude Witt; his sister, Janet Weeks; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
