William "Wild Bill" Reed

July 23, 1949 — February 18, 2020

Chico ~ William “Wild Bill” Reed, 70, a plumber, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Chico.
Memorial service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Pastor Jeff Honeycutt will officiate.
William was born on July 23, 1949 to William and Rosemary (Davis) Reed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Deborah Camille Vander Beets on March 31, 1990 in Fort Worth. William owned and operated B&D Plumbing in Chico, was a founding father of the Wise County Toy Run, and a 38-year member of the United Brothers Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Justin “Trigger” Reed; his brothers, Wayne, Tommy, and Carl Reed.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Debbie Reed of Chico; his son, Colton Reed of Chico; his sisters, Linda Hock of Tyler and Laurie Reed of Fort Worth; his brother, David Reed and wife Donna of Irving; numerous nieces, nephews, and the United Brothers. In lieu of flowers, if so inclined you may make a donation to the family in Bill's honor.
