Ronald "Ronnie" Loyd Tackel

Paradise ~ Ronnie Tackel, 64, a retired employee of Lockheed Martin, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 2, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Bridgeport.

Matt Tackel will officiate. Pallbearers include Leslie Oates, Derek Read, Paul Kelley, Stan Caruthers, Wayne Arthur and Karl Black.

Ronnie was born on September 16, 1953 to William A. and Ellon Faye (Kaker) Tackel in Bridgeport, Texas. He was united in marriage to Ruth Nall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his sister, Sandra Tackel; and his brother, Danny Tackel.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, DeAnn Taylor and husband Danny of Decatur, his grandchildren, Courtney Scarborough and husband Hayden of Decatur and Clayton Taylor of Decatur; his great grandchildren, Taylor and Tatum Scarborough, David Tackel and wife Carol of Azle, Billy Tackel and wife Karen of Decatur, Clinton Tackel and wife Donna of Paradise and Sherri Stockton and husband Mike of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
