Eddie Wayne Moore

Boyd ~ Eddie Wayne Moore, 66, previous owner of  Eddie’s Tire Shop in Boyd, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Boyd.

Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church .

Rev. Mark Autry and Rev. Jeff Tackett will officiate. Pallbearers include Steven Edwards, Steven Roberts, Jason Foreman, Joel Alexander, Kenneth Earl McCauley and Derek Lambert. Honorary Pallbearers include Toby Miller, Jake Tackett, Billy Jenkins, Ray Sanders, Scott Frazier, Justin Smith, Johnny Lambert, Adam Lambert, Danny Lambert, and Jimmy McDaniel.

Eddie was born on January 20, 1949 to Floyd and Vera (Meador) Moore in Decatur. He graduated from Decatur High School. Eddie was united in marriage to Lois Tackett on June 2, 1967 in Boyd. He owned Eddie’s Tire Shop in Boyd. Eddie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Lois Moore of Boyd; his daughter, Sherry (Dalynn) McDaniel and partner Wes Morrow of Reno, Texas; his son, Dwayne Moore and wife Cheryl Ann of Boyd; his grandchildren, Kristi Hataway and husband Justin of Saginaw, Brittany Moore, Courtney Moore, Garrett Moore, Kaylee Ann Moore, Flinton Sage Moore, Wyatt Morrow, and Francis Dillion Morrow; his great grandchildren, Brailey, Braiden, and Jaycee; his brother, Bobby Moore and wife Ester of Decatur; his sisters, Elizabeth Frazier and husband James of Cundiff, Glenda Jackson of Decatur, Melba Roberts and husband James (Bimbo) of Decatur, and Paula Foreman and husband Jerald of Bridgeport; other relatives and a host of friends.
