Bridgeport ~ Bobby Lloyd "Rusty" Brown, 64, a retired Oilfield Salesman from Bridgeport, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 8, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rusty was born February 20, 1953 to Bonnie Foster and Marie (Preskitt) Brown in Lake Bridgeport, Texas. He married Elaine Burk on December 17, 1971 in Rhome, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Elaine Burk Brown of Bridgeport; son, Eric Scott Brown and wife Tonja of Bridgeport; 2 daughters, Kayla Bridges and husband Jimmy of Weatherford, and Mendi Pittman and husband Jeff of Runaway Bay; 9 grandchildren, James, Kacy, Kalyb, Jesye, Hannah, Zane, Maddi, Tanner, and Laney; 2 great-grandsons, Kayden and Beckett; 3 sisters, Barbara McDaniel, Tiny Atkins, and Rayanne Gentry and husband Brad; a brother, Tommy Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Gary, Mike, and Jim Brown; and a sister, Sissy Steagall.
