Bridgeport ~ Thelma Faye Supina, 101, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 6, 2018, in Bridgeport.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Rev. Reehan S. Anthony will officiate. Pallbearers include Sean Strickland, Guy Hargrove, Sam Nicholson, Larry Supina, Mick Supina, and Eddie Berry.
Thelma was born July 20, 1917, to Eddie Thomas and Lena Elizabeth (Ross) Miller in DeLeon, Texas. She was united in marriage to Frank William Supina on November 19, 1941 in Odessa. Thelma worked retail sales at Corner Drug. She was a member of St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church. Thelma was also a member of the Quilting Club and Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank William Supina; her granddaughter, Sandra Supina; her brothers, Ross Miller, Oscar Miller, Bob Miller, Edwin Miller, and Roy Miller; her sisters, Gladys Brown, Adell Parker, Hazel Miller, and her twin sister, Velma Supina.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Edward Ross Supina and wife Ann of Denison; her daughters, Carol Francesca Geninatti of Olathe, Kansas, and Julia Kathleen Camp and husband Jerry of Rowlett; her grandchildren, Alan Ray and wife Margaret, Melissa Ray, Sharon Strickland and George Mariano, Shelley Nicholson and husband Scott, and Sean Strickland and wife Janet; her 10 great-grandchildren; her 1 great great-grandchild; and her brother, Homer Miller and wife Jo of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
