Nancy Catherine (Moore) Steinhauer

Paradise ~ Nancy Catherine Moore Steinhauer, 68, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Paradise.

Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 8, 2017 at Church of the Living God in Cottondale.

Pastor Jack Skidmore will officiate.

Nancy was born on August 22, 1948 to Leonard and Viola (Pahmeyer) Moore in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to James Steinhauer on November 27, 1976 in Fort Worth. Her first career as a licensed cosmetologist allowed her to express her creative talents, and for many years she also engaged in painting and ceramics. Later, Nancy filled her heart and her home as she served as a foster mother to more than 100 children in Wise County. Nancy was a member of the Church of the Living God in Cottondale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Steinhauer; and her daughter, Tiffany Chance.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Steven Wayne Quinlan and wife Ann of Granbury, Christian Steinhauer of Rhome, and Casey Steinhauer of Rhome; her grandchildren, Ryan Cole Quinlan,Shyla Kaye Quinlan of Granbury, and Annabella Grace Chance of Paradise; her sister, Annie Lee Turner of Argyle; her niece, stepchildren, extended family members, and a host of friends.
