Callie Ozell (Walker) Fennell

Decatur ~ Callie Fennell, 86, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Decatur.

Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Callie was born on August 15, 1931 to Carl and Bessie (Hollingsworth) Walker in Park Springs, Texas. She was united in marriage to John Fennell Jr. in 1958 in Decatur. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Fennell Jr.; her son, John Henry and 4 grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Carl Fennell of Alvord, Benny John Fennell of Bridgeport, Marvin Joe Fennell of Borger, Texas; her daughters, Robin Fennell of Alvord, Lynda Cross of Alvord, Kay Huddleston of Chico, Karen Bennett of Bowie; her sisters, Modie Jarvis and husband Bill of Reno, Fay Green of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
