Allen "Jimmie" Hlavek Obituary
Decatur ~ Allen Jimmie Pinkerton Hlavek, 92, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. 1 hour prior to service at the Funeral home.
Bro. Bill Hughes will officiate.
Jimmie was born on October 3, 1926 to Allen James and Gracie Ellen (Bazzlay) Pinkerton in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” F. Hlavek on December 10, 1965 in Decatur. Jimmie retired from the family business Pinkerton Food Store after 45 years as the general manager. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bob Hlavek.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Ruben Pinkerton and wife Barbara of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.
