I'm so sorry to hear about Lonnie's passing. he was such a great person and good neighbor when he and his family lived in Cottondale. He helped me out on many occasions when I needed help and never asked for anything. I will always miss having you as my good neighbor.

Our prayers and love are with you as you know., but I just had to let you know how much Lonnie meant to us. I will never forget meeting Lonnie the first time when he came over to our house and slept on the couch while you and I assembled "flamingos" for Callie's ballet recital. He never budged even when we got slap happy with the dangling feet and feather cloud, :). And then, he helped me take down all the wedding stuff and flowers after Meggan's wedding. He just showed up and helped. That was Lonnie! Both Pat and I will truly miss him. He was our friend and brother in spirit. Deployments, FRG, Yellow Ribbons...he was always around to help us out and then board a plane to go where the Army sent him to serve his country with honor. We were blessed to know him and have him as a special friend. With love, the Ersches.
